Dental Care Professionals (DCP)
The role of the traditional dental nurse has changed and their contribution to the dental team now has more of an effect on patient care than in the past. Dental nurses now take on more responsibilities and this has been recognised by the General Dental Council.
All of our staff both receptionists and dental nurses are now DCPs. Dental Care Professionals. They are now registered with the General Dental Council and have to adhere to the professional guidance in the same manner as dentists. The staff are trained to help both dentists and patients.
